Recipe For Sweet And Hot Cabbage

2 Tbsp canola oil
1 large onion, cut into crescents
6 cups thinly sliced green cabbage, (savoy)
2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
1 tsp salt, or as needed
Directions:
1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat.
2. Sauté onion and red cabbage for 2 - 3 minutes.
3. Add green cabbage. Sauté 3 - 4 minutes more.
4. While the cabbage is sautéing, in a small bowl, mix sugar, vinegar,
Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and salt together. Add to the skillet. Stir together
well until all is well incorporated. Simmer 1-2 minutes.
Serves 5.
